The MB542 Wireless Path Light--An Improvement Over Solar Path Lights
The MB542 is a patented wireless lighting solution from Mr. Beams. The MB542 is battery powered and has wireless controls (motion sensor and remote control) to provide a consistent bright light that turns on automatically when motion is detected or via remote control when you need it. Operated with C batteries and intelligent controls to extend the battery life, the MB542 will typically run on a set of batteries for over a year. The MB542 provides a brighter light than solar path lights and does not require direct sunlight to operate.
Solar path lights can be disappointing when they are not bright enough or do not recharge to a level to provide illumination through an entire night. The MB542 offers a strong alternative to solar path lights to address your needs for outdoor lighting along paths, walkways and stairs outside of your home.
Weatherproof

Auto Shut-Off
The Mr. Beams remote control and motion sensor battery operated indoor/outdoor LED step light turns off automatically when no motion is detected, conserving battery life. The automatic shut-off period is adjustable using a switch to select between 20 or 10 minutes of delay from the last motion that was detected or last remote control ON received to shutting the light off.
Remote Control Activated
The MB542 includes a remote control for turning the light on and off. The remote control operates the entire group of path lights using radio frequency (RF) control. It does not require line of sight thus you can turn the path lights on and off from inside your house or at a distance beyond the range of the motion sensors.
Motion Sensor Activated
A path light instantly turns on when it detects motion, and can detect motion from as far as 12 feet away with 180 degrees of vision.
Day/Night Sensor
A built-in photocell activates the remote control receiver and motion sensor only after the sun has set or when the lights are out.
Bright LED Light
The bright LED and housing design focus the light where you need it--perfect for wall-mounted or ground-installed lighting applications.
LED Glow Mode
In glow mode, the LED light will remain turned on at a very low light level. At the very low light level, the light serves as a marker light identifying where the sidewalk or deck stairs start, for example. When a user approaches, the motion sensor will turn the light on to a bright light output to provide more light. After the auto shut-off time in which motion has not been detected, the MB542 will return to LED glow mode.

Easy to Install
